  • The company shall mean Transen Sustainable Energy Systems Limited.
  • The appliance shall mean the Transen Heat Pump Unit.
  • The appliance is sold subject to the Terms of Business of the company in force at the time of sale.
  • The warranty is a return to base warranty, and does not cover any charges for site labour, travelling or carriage.
  • The appliance is guaranteed against faulty manufacture for a period of five years from the date of purchase providing that a suitably qualified and approved installer, listed on the government agency Clear Skies/Low Carbon Building Accredited Building Acredited approved installer register, carries out the initial installation and commissioning and any warranty work undertaken.
  • The warranty does not cover use of ferrous metal storage tanks, breakdowns or malfunctions caused by incorrect installation, neglect, misuse, accident, failure to operate the appliance in accordance with the instructions, the effects of hard water, frost, poor power supplies, or power surges howsoever caused.
  • The warranty is invalid if the appliance is found to have been tampered with in any way or not used for the purpose intended.
  • The warranty is not transferable unless sanctioned by the company.
  • The company will endeavour to provide prompt service. However, the company cannot be held liable or any consequence of any delay however caused.
  • Compatibility of the appliance with the power supply or any other appliance is not covered under this warranty.
  • The warranty only applies to units installed in the UK.
  • Faulty goods should be returned to their place of manufacture.
  • No goods can be returned to us without our permission.
  • This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
