The Transen 15kw Alpha unit has been installed for over two years and has performed very satisfactorily over that period. The system is programmed to run on the Economy 7 tariff. The client has estimated the daily run costs over a year to average about £1.20 per day. Economical energy costs for an internationally renowned 'green' B&B establishment serving organic fare grown in its own gardens.

State of the art water sport facility at Kempston nr Milton Keynes. Three No. 3phase 30kW Tansen Omega units, each unit utilising the on-site aquifer as the heat sink. Two units provide for the underfloor heating and cooling system, the third unit services the domestic hot water requirements for the facility.

Traditional Farm house with out-buildings. Wind generator and photo-voltaic tiles power two No 11.5kW Transen Beta units that provide space heating and domestic hot water.

Following completion of the new build property in Lesmahagow for which Transen supplied the heat pump, we were delighted to receive a glowing commendation from our clients.

As suppliers of the Ground Source Heat Pump System, Transen should also be commended for providing an excellent service and a well designed product.

"When designing our new house we decided to ultilise green technology in relation to our heating and hot water supply, and approached several specialist companies to investigate options. Sustainable Earth quickly demonstrated their superior understanding of this sector, and in particular was able to suggest an appropriate solution tailored to our circumstances, without the usual sales pitch.

Colin Meikle's suggested specification for our heating system for our heating and hot water supply was backed up by a detailed explanation (in layman's terms), which gave us confidence that our new house would be adequately heated throughout the year, with a consistent reliable supply of hot water. The system designed would also do so without relying on supplementary electric boilers/solutions - which was critical to us, as we believe such 'add on's' defeat the purpose of utilizing a geothermal system.
